Aims & Scope of Workshop:
Aims:
- To provide anesthesiologists with comprehensive training in the use of transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in perioperative and critical care settings.
- To enhance participants' skills in acquiring and interpreting TTE images fo diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- To improve patient outcomes by integrating TTE into perioperative practice.
Scope:
- Basics of transthoracic echocardiography, including physics and instrumentation.
- Indications and applications of TTE in anesthesia.
- Hands-on training sessions with real-time practice on live models
- Interpretation of normal and pathological findings.
- Case discussions and problem-solving sessions.
