Aims & Scope of Workshop:

Aims:

  •  To provide anesthesiologists with comprehensive training in the use of transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in perioperative and critical care settings.
  • To enhance participants' skills in acquiring and interpreting TTE images fo diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • To improve patient outcomes by integrating TTE into perioperative practice.

 Scope:

  •  Basics of transthoracic echocardiography, including physics and instrumentation.
  • Indications and applications of TTE in anesthesia.
  • Hands-on training sessions with real-time practice on live models
  • Interpretation of normal and pathological findings.
  • Case discussions and problem-solving sessions.
