Aims & Scope of Workshop:

Aims and Scope of Workshop:
Aims:
o To provide anesthesiologists with comprehensive training in the use of
transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in perioperative and critical care settings.
o To enhance participants' skills in acquiring and interpreting TTE images for
diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
o To improve patient outcomes by integrating TTE into perioperative practice.
 Scope:
o Basics of transthoracic echocardiography, including physics and instrumentation.
o Indications and applications of TTE in anesthesia.
o Hands-on training sessions with real-time practice on live models
o Interpretation of normal and pathological findings.
